SMART PORT

The SMART PORT concept seeks to positively influence the quality of life of users, as well as maximize productivity through efficient and responsible management of resources and services. Thanks to the IoT we are able to track containers, monitor merchandise traffic, improve traceability, water level, temperature... obtaining and managing all kinds of information stored in the cloud, keeping an exact monitoring of the port in real time. The digitization of seaports generates a quantity of data that must be structured in order to get the most out of it. If we combine the IoT with a communications system such as 5G, providing it with security through Blockchain, among others, transferring all the data to an integrated platform, we will be able to substantially improve port operations.
